Facilities

Masha'Allah, The British Islamic Nursery has excellent facilities and we welcome you to come and see!  Please visit our Contact Us page to learn about our location.

Classrooms
All classrooms are arranged according to British educational standards.  Learning centers are set up to provide children with a guided learning experience.  Several students are able to go to each center and play and learn.  Centers include the math/science table, reading corner, house play, building blocks, puzzles, arts table, and alphabet table.  This way teachers can move about the room and provide small group and one-on-one time with the children as we are committed to child-centered learning.
All classrooms have en-suite bathrooms, A/C, and are light-filled.

The Maths Room
The Maths Room is an area which is full of equipment and teaching aids to help children enjoy and appreciate the magic of maths. Puzzles, shapes, colours, tables, and games are all at your little one's fingertips in The Maths Room and should help him to enjoy this important aspect of life. Children learn about themselves through the magic of maths as in his weight, height, measures of food, age, and much more! And all through play and fun...

The Discovery Room
This is where learning really is fun! Computer area, Arts & Crafts, Building area, and Imaginative Area.  Science Area where they learn about such topics as the Human Body, Animals, and Environments.  All of this area is designed to stimulate your child's thought processes and creative skills and to help them understand how the world around them works.

The Literacy Room
A Wonderland of storytelling and imagination! Here children will learn to read, to lose themselves in the pages of some of the classic stories of our childhood-in English and Arabic languages.

Arabic & Islamic Room
Those parents wishing their children to learn Quran and Adhab, can relax in the knowledge that their little ones will be surrounded by the love, peace, and tolerance that is Islam. From babies to Upper Foundation, each Muslim child will hear  tajweed, anasheed, hadiths, stories of the Prophets (Peace Be Upon Them), and hear the wonderful words of "Al-Humdillah," "Mash'Allah," "Bismillah," and, "Subhan'Allah."

For non-Muslim parents, your children will have more time in our exciting activity areas while the Muslim children are having their Islamic lessons- unless you would like them to join in as some of our children happily do!

Sea Room
Indoor play area that has a large ball pit shaped like a ship in the sea. This room is an excellent place to teach about colors and numbers.  Children love playing games like handing the teacher a certain color ball, or counting the legs on the play octopus.  This room has padded floor and walls, to allow the children to move about freely and safely.
This room provides a safe, controlled environment that allows children to play away any excess energies whilst learning at the same time.

Bedouin Tent
The Bedouin tent outside is a great place for the children to sit together and listen to stories of the past.  This is where we have traditional Arabic seating and where the children can learn of their heritage.

Outdoor Play Areas
There are two large outdoor play areas.  One is especially good for younger children like the toddlers.  It has a jumping castle, playground set, small bicycles and cars, and a caterpillar for the children to climb inside.  The large play area in the back has a large playground set, a trampoline, rocking animals and cars, and climbing sets.  We can even set up the pool on a warm day.

Kitchen
This, like most Arabic homes, is the hub of the home where staff, parents, and children congregate in the early morning. Our cooker, our washing machine etc. are located safely away from the children in our utility room.  Children are encouraged to sit at the specially made tables and benches and to eat independently in a safe and clean environment.  The children also meet here to learn about how we make cookies! and they gather there to eat special food on special days such as National Day when they will also wear traditional or party dress.

Sleep Room
Sweet Dreams! A cozy, cool place for children to rest their quietly rest.
